A Prayer for Hope
Lord, grant me the hope I need for today
and an overflow,
That I might bring hope to anyone in need of it.
Make me a hope-bringer in Your service.

Have you ever felt like hope is like something that comes in a jar on the spice shelf? A favorite flavoring used in all our beloved recipes that causes terror if it begins to run low, or God forbid, run out just when we need it to help a friend, comfort a child, or even get us through the day.
Hope is one of those mystery promises that fits together with faith and love in a unique recipe of abiding (see 1 Corinthians 13:13). Faith, hope, and love are like a super spice combination that makes everything in life taste better. Hope helps us endure so we can continue persevering in faith while loving each other.
Sometimes, hope can run low, so it’s essential to learn to ask God for it. I hope this little prayer helps.
