Day 27 – Awaiting Angels
Great is the mystery of godliness ~ 1 Timothy 3:16
A Dessert Prayer.
You, O Father, are the mystery that compels me to search. You are the puzzle box I’m challenged to open. You inspire a curiosity that stirs me to climb the mountain and discover what lies beyond. Your paths lead me to promises that reveal Your heart; I must walk those paths to unlock their riddles.
You are the burning bush that attracts. You are the pillar of fire that leads. You are the storm, the earthquake, and the wind that announces jubilee. You are the Counselor instructing in the night and the still, small voice whispering wisdom. You are the guard against every foe and My confidence and shield.
Fear surrounds Me but is not within Me. Father, Your undimmable lamp illuminates My faith. I may close my eyes to its light, but it never falters. It burns steady and true, granting vision and a clear path. Help Me, in Your mercy, to join with the myriads of faithful declaring, “My hope is in You.”
